Rise Records officially announces signing Florida's DECODER

A band forged with the idea of doing something unique, new, and unheard DECODER was formed. It's formation came out of that of many previously signed and Jack Burns (Ex-OCEANA) shortly after the disbanding of Of Machines and the departure of Jack from OCEANA. After coming up with a concept and style they approached Keith Jones (Ex-OCEANA) and Spencer Pearson(Ex-Versa Emerge) to fill the roles of vocals and various intruments. The band became a well seasoned unit. Shortly after recording demos, Bryce Sipes entered the picture on bass. They are currently in the studio with Matt Malpass (Marigolds and Monsters) recording their debut full length due out on RISE Records early 2011.

DECODER has posted a new MySpace layout; the band will play their first show in Tampa, FL at Orpheum on October 29th. Listen to a new demo track here, Myspace.com/Decoder
